After botching his last mission, veteran CIA agent Eithan Renner (Kevin
Costner) is informed that he is terminally ill, and decides to retire and use
the time he has left to reestablish contact with the family he abandoned,
especially his rebellious teenage daughter (is there any other kind?). But
shortly after, a mysterious woman approaches him with an offer he can’t refused
- she will give him an experimental drug that could prolong his life if he
agrees to carry out one assassination job for her. Anyone who knows those "last
mission" scenarios knows that things can only go south from here...
