22 years after the first film, Tom Cruise returns as the omnipotent agent Ethan Hunt. This is by no means a world record - I think it belongs to Harrison Ford (Han Solo and maybe Indiana Jones). Mark Hammil (Luke Skywalker) or maybe Bruce Willis (John McClane) ...

This time Hunt's mission is to save the world from the insane Solomon Lane who threatens to destroy the world in his revenge against Hunt, and the chase is full of twists and turns, most of which could have been discarded and are inpossible to follow anyway. At least this time (almost spoiler) Hunt gets a degree of recognition and thanks for his heroic and superhuman efforts.
