Jack Reacher: Never Go Back

In this Movie, Eithan Hunt (sorry, Jack Reacher) returns from another successful mission, and is on his the way to meet with his colleague to celebrate the success. When he discovers that she has been arrested, the two find themselves involved in a murder and espionage conspiracy, being persecuted by the military and murderous assassins, and on the way, Richer discovers that he appereantly has a daughter, whose existence was unknown to him.

The daughter, as opposed to what is customary in films like this, is a resourceful street brat who knows how to contribute her share to the war effort, and also shows a surprising degree of maturity and wisdom.

And by the way, Reacher is described as being "In his 40ies" (Cruise is pushing 60...)
